About the founders

Gulzar Kurucheva-Studhaler, Co-Founder

I was born in Talas and am very proud that we have a world famous countryman – the outstanding writer Chingiz Aitmatov. I started working in tourism when I was a student in the department of Germanic Studies in 2000, and now work as a schoolteacher in Switzerland. Our joint brainchild – the travel company “Uniqtours” – I can safely is called the passion of my life. We do everything to make tourism flourish in Kyrgyzstan. We always welcome our new and old friends.

Altynai Rakhmatova, co-founder

My first acquaintance with tourism was back in 1999, I was a foreign language student. I first met Gulzar when the first foreign tourists came to Kyrgyzstan. Then, for the first time, we toured and saw so many unusual places in our country, that after that trip we wanted to seriously go into the tourism business. It took us more than 10 years to accumulate the necessary experience, thanks to which we now have a solid base of clients from different countries.

Aisulu Bukayeva, co-founder

I have been in tourism for more than 15 years. In our company I am responsible for preparation of travel programs, sales and the booking of tours; I exercise quality control of the tours. I adore my job, I like receiving tourists, I like making new acquaintances and that special atmosphere that only the travel industry has. I am convinced that the desire to invite guests, to take care of them, to surprise and delight them – all this is deep in the culture of our nomadic people. My dream is that Kyrgyzstan will become a world tourist brand. I especially appreciate sincerity, kindness and readiness for new experiences in guests.
